Set in the demanding world of haute cuisine, the story features husband Carsten (Nikoaj Coster-Waldau), a creative and driven Danish chef, who learned his trade in Japan, finally gains his own restaurant with a Michelin star as his ultimate goal and his wife Maggi (Katrine Gries-Rosenthal), who have been working together for 10 years to build a special restaurant in Copenhagen with the goal of earning a Michelin star. The movie is a drama-romance that follows Carsten and Maggi as they discover their ego and obsessiveness carry a hefty price.
