Child Advocacy is proud to offer the NEW Stewards and Children® training beginning January 2024, which includes the latest statistics, increased accessibility and diversity through lived experience, more trauma-informed best practices, and several modifications to the trainee experience and user journey.*

Stewards of Children® is a prevention training that teaches adults how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. It is the only nationally distributed, evidence-informed program proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes, and change child protective behaviors.

Participants will learn the 5 steps in protecting children:
1. Learn the facts of child sexual abuse, grooming, and abusers
2. Minimize opportunity by reducing or eliminating one-on-one isolated situations with children
3. Talk about body parts, body boundaries, and sex in age-appropriate ways
4. Recognize the signs of abuse, red flag behaviors, and how to show support if you see signs
5. React responsibly to disclosures, discovery, and suspicion

The target audience for this training includes parents, caregivers, grandparents, and any adult who cares for children. Specialized trainings for youth-serving organizations available as requested.
