BlackBook Sessions #34

We are excited to announce our upcoming event on Saturday, May 17, in partnership with Art Supply Warehouse in Westminster. We warmly invite you and your students to join us for a day filled with art, music, food, community, and free workshops.

As part of our event, we are hosting an Art Contest where winners in various age categories will receive premium art supplies from Art Supplies Warehouse. If any of your artists are interested in participating, please review the guidelines below.

Art Contest Information

Acceptable Art Submission Techniques:

Qualifying techniques for art submissions may include, but are not limited to:

oils, scratchboard, pointillism, chalk, pastels, charcoal, colored pencil, acrylics, dry brush, watercolor, crosshatch, lead, linoleum printing, tempera, and crayon.

Please note: Digital artwork and photography will not be accepted.

Contest Prizes:

Prize packs worth $300 to $200 will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each age category. Additionally, participants in the 14-24 age group will have the opportunity to win our Director’s Choice Award for the best art piece in the show.

Registration Deadline:

All submissions must be received by 3:30 P.M. SHARP!

We strongly urge you to complete your artistic masterpiece before the event day. At the registration booth, you will be required to fill out a brief form including your name, age, contact information, and a short description of your artwork. This information will be used to notify you in case you win an award and are not present to claim it. Your entry must be an original, hand-crafted creation and must not violate any copyright laws. The winners of the contest will be announced near the conclusion of the event day.
