We are excited to present the 3rd annual Maryland Makerspace Meetup at the Exploration Commons at 50 East in downtown Westminster, part of the Carroll County Public Library. This year's leynote speaker is MD State Sen. Cory McCray (D-45), co-sponsor of the 2022 legislation that established the MD Makerspace Initiative.
That legislation provided 5 years of funding for makerspaces in our state -- but it expires next year. The Maryland Makerspace Association was formally incorporated in July, 2025 to advocate for its renewal and build a community of practice among regional makerspace operators.
