These goddess circles are designed to awaken our divinity within, remembering that all parts of ourselves are sacred and whole while held in the warm sanctuary of sisterhood.
With the understanding that there are many inflections of the one God/Goddess - we will choose a different goddess every month to work with.
As we move towards the sacred threshold of the winter solstice - we will be working with the cycle of life, death and rebirth as the light of the sun "dies" on the longest night of the year and is "rebirthed". We’ll do this through connecting with the Egyptian goddess, Isis, who is known as the birther of light, or the Mother of God. When we awaken our inner Isis, we remember our sacred femininity, our wholeness, our magical wombs and ability to birth life itself.
Our Isis Goddess Circle tentative schedule:
• Opening ceremony, invocation & blue lotus tea
• Mythology & archetypes
• Oracle cards & journaling
• Sisterhood & discussions
• Womb yoga
• Death & rebirth yoga nidra meditation
• Sacred oil anointing ritual
• Closing ceremony
• Vegetarian potluck
Who:
- All souls who identify as female are welcome to attend and in any stage of their feminine journey (maiden, mother, or crone).
What to bring:
- An offering for Isis (fruit, natural sweets, flowers, incense, oils, etc.).
- A vegetarian dish to contribute to the potluck.
- Water bottle.
*This event will be held indoors at the Shaolin Temple.
