The Lightfest 8k Run/Walk will take place on Wednesday, November 19 at 7:00 PM at Merriman Hollow Park in Westland!  

Registration fees:

Adults
$36.50 through October 31, 2025
$41.50 from November 1 - Noon on November 14, 2025
$45 at Packet Pick-up (November 17) and event day (November 19). 
*Cash/check only for onsite registration. 

Kids (18 and younger)
$26.50 through October 31, 2025
$ 31.50 from November 1- Noon on November 14, 2025
$35 at Packet Pick-up (November 17) and on event day (November 19)

The first 1,000 participants will receive a 2025 Lightfest hat, Lightfest 2025 medal, transportation back to the start line provided by SMART and post event snacks. 

Packet Pick-up will take place on Monday, November 17 at Merriman Hollow Park in Westland from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM and on event day (November 19) from 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM. 

Merriman Hollow Park is located at 7651 N. Merriman Road in Westland. 

No dogs are allowed due to the bus transportation and large number of participants. 

There is a 2.5-hour time limit for participation for the Lightfest Run/Walk.
