The Gospel Connection

The Gospel Connection with Suzanne Buell is a musical event that showcases traditional spirituals and gospel music, as well as its connections to the Civil Rights movement and modern-day artists. Suzanne Buell, a former Stax recording artist and graduate of Boston Conservatory, leads this project. The event features a 7-piece band and includes performances by artists like Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Mavis Staples, Aretha Franklin, and Bob Dylan. The concert is a celebration of the musical traditions that have inspired contemporary artists and is a must-see for fans of gospel music and history.
