Our goal for this mini youth summer camp is to provide children the opportunity to explore new outdoor activities. Encouraging outdoor time with horses can significantly contribute to a child's overall development and well-being. Children work hands on to learn horse health & care, communication, and leadership.

Mental Well-being- Being outside reduces stress and anxiety, enhancing mood and overall mental health.

Social Skills-Outdoor activities often involve teamwork and collaboration, helping children develop social skills and friendships.

Creativity and Imagination- Outdoor activities encourage imaginative play, allowing children to explore and create their own games and stories.

Cognitive Development- Outdoor exploration stimulates curiosity and critical thinking, enhancing problem-solving skills.

Independence and Confidence- Outdoor challenges help children build confidence and independence as they learn new skills and overcome obstacles.

Development of Motor Skills-Activities like riding, balancing, and brushing horses increases coordination and fine motor skills.

This 2-hour session will cover horse care, health, science, brushing, and end with pony rides. We will also provide a small craft and snack. There are a limited amount of spots available and is open to kids aged 6-12.
