Introduction to Cattle

Join us for a hands-on Cattle Introduction Clinic designed to introduce both horse and rider to cattle and the fundamentals of cattle handling. This clinic is ideal for riders who are new to working cattle or looking to build confidence in a controlled, supportive environment.

Participants will learn basic cattle-handling principles, how to read cattle, positioning, and how to help their horse stay calm, responsive, and engaged around cattle. The focus will be on safety, horsemanship, and developing a solid foundation for future cow work.

This clinic is provided by Elk Creek Quarter Horses and Robert Klinger.

Cost: $150 per rider

Perfect for those interested in ranch work, cow horse disciplines, or simply expanding their horse’s experience and training.
