Set in the small town of Edgewater, Indiana, THE PROM follows Emma, a courageous high school student whose simple wish to take her girlfriend to the prom becomes the catalyst for a national conversation. The journey begins when a group of eccentric, self-absorbed Broadway stars—facing a PR disaster in New York—decide to "save" Emma to rehabilitate their own public images. More than just a musical comedy, THE PROM focuses on love, acceptance, equality and embracing the person you are meant to be.
