Elle Taylor is a singer/songwriter from Erie, PA. She performs her original music with her band which consists of three members (Nick Warren, Eric Sandberg, and Peter Hohman.) She released an independent album in 2021 titled “Taken me a While" which featured many talented local musicians accompanying her. In 2024 she released her second music album "See the Sun."
Elle has been a writer since she was a child but has been putting her words to song since 2019. She describes writing songs as a coping skill and uses it as a form of individualized therapy. Elle hopes that her songs, especially her lyrics, can resonate with people going through some of the same experiences she has in life. She works to give a message of hope to others. A message, that even if it has taken someone a while to feel peace, to feel alive, to feel like their true selves, they can do it. Even if someone woke up and forgot to see the sunshine this morning there is always tomorrow to do so. There is no reason to give up, that hope is possible. Elle resides in Erie, PA, in an old brick house with her two children and pets. She has worked with children with mental and emotional disturbances for over 14 years in a local non-profit organization.
Elle was a 40 under 40 recipient in 2023. She won "Best New Artist" in the Erie Reader in 2021. She has had two music videos created which can be seen on her youtube channel "Elle Taylor." Her collage art can be viewed and purchased as well on her instagram account "elletayloreriepa." She usually brings her artwork to gigs for sale as well as t-shirts and stickers. Elle's music is streaming on all platforms but cd's and vinyl (of see the sun) can be purchased at her live shows.
