- **Event Description**: The City of Westfield’s Veterans Day Ceremony, presented by Citizens Energy Group, will take place on Tuesday, November 11 at IMMI Conference Center (18880 East Street). Breakfast will be served from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m., leading into a meaningful ceremony featuring live performances, keynote speeches, and the poster & essay contest recognitions. Each veteran in attendance will also receive a special gift, courtesy of Colt Moving.

The ceremony is free and open to the public, but we do ask all attendees to RSVP on our website or click the 'tickets' link on this Facebook event.

Are you a local Westfield Veteran, or know someone who is? We will be featuring our Hometown Heroes in a presentation during the ceremony breakfast. If you or a veteran in your life would like to be included in this slideshow, please submit name, photograph, and service branch by October 31 on our website at westfieldin.gov/veteransdayceremony. 

In addition, we are now accepting entries for our second annual Westfield Veterans Day Ceremony Poster & Essay Contest presented by Community Health Network. The contest—which was created to honor the service and sacrifice of our veterans—is open to all students residing in Westfield or Washington Township, whether they attend a public, private, or home-based learning program. One winner will be selected from each grade and will receive a monetary prize. Essay contest winners will have the opportunity to read their work aloud, and posters will be presented and displayed during the ceremony.
