Half Step returns to the main stage of The Space Theater in Westbury on October 9th. Featuring a functioning 1/4 scale version of the Grateful Dead's "Wall of Sound".

7:30 come see the mini wall of sound demonstrated in the side room of the theater by its creator Anthony Coscia. Anthony will be doing a Q&A, giving insight to the wall's concept, design and construction. Members of Half Step will play a few live acoustic songs through the Mini Wall of Sound as a warm up.
8:30 The Half Step show starts in the theater and the sound will also be played through the Mini Wall of Sound!

Designed and built by Anthony Coscia with the help of a few other Deadicated volunteers,
Le Petit Mur De Son is a series of functioning scale models of the Grateful Dead’s Wall of Sound as it would have appeared in 1974. The project you will see on October 9th at The Space is the second step up at ¼ scale. It channels over 6,000 watts of power through 8 channels and roughly 500 functioning speakers. It was designed to function as a hybrid wall that can play both recorded music and up to 18 input channels for live performance. On it’s stage it measures 15’ wide by 10’ tall.
