This playful gathering will begin with Inner Child Yoga, a spirited session to gently tune you into your body and soul before the forest fun begins. Through breath, centering, curious movement, laughter, and play, you’ll reconnect with your inner child and remember the sweetness that lives within you. Laughter, movement, community and nature are some of the best medicines, and in a time of heaviness, choosing joy is an act of resistance. Let’s get silly together!

From there we’ll head out into the forest for a frolicsome nature adventure inviting exploration, curiosity, imagination, mindfulness, movement, connection, and simple joy. This experience is all about reconnecting with our inner wild child, remembering the magic in taking a break from adulting, being present with nature, and allowing ourselves to play again. 

Wear wings, bug gear, animal ears, fairy vibes, mushroom hats, or anything playful that helps your inner child come alive. Playful attire is encouraged but never required. Expect bubbles and if you feel called to bring something fun to share with the group please do! Also, bring a yoga mat or blanket, bug spray, water and a snack for yourself. 

This is a beginner-friendly, trauma-informed space where all parts of you are welcome. Open to all ages, though adults are especially encouraged to come reconnect with curiosity, wonder, authenticity, laughter, and the magic of silly & simple joys. 

In the event of rain, we will move indoors into the Nature Center building. 

Veronica Carpenter is a Yoga Therapist and self-love cheerleader behind Blissful Butterfly Yoga. Rooted in her recovery from developmental trauma, she helps humans heal their relationship with themselves through practical, playful practices. With a background in psychology and comprehensive yoga therapy and over 20 years supporting children in mental health and caregiving, she works with both children and adults, guiding people of all ages back to loving kindness, compassion, curiosity, and play. Her work blends breath, somatic movement, and mindfulness in beginner-friendly, trauma-informed spaces where all of you is welcome, even the messy bits, inviting you to embrace your most authentic self.

About Rancocas Nature Center:Rancocas Nature Center has been a staple of the community for decades, offering beautiful trails through meadows, forests, and wetlands.
