On July 11th, I’m bringing a Soul Punch™ self-defense workshop to our friends at Magikal Makings in West Warwick, and this one is close to my heart. Women’s safety is extremely important to me. I wanted a way to serve my community, and when I found Soul Punch™, I found the way to serve. I want the women in my community to feel safe here.

Here is what we will focus on, the inside-out way:
- Awareness, your first line of defense. We will train that gut feeling so it speaks up sooner.
- Boundaries, saying no without apology. You do not owe anyone access to you.
- Command Presence, posture, eye contact, and voice that say, not me.
- Emotional Regulation, so your thinking brain stays online when stress spikes.

Real talk, last month I felt my own “Emotional Devil” kick up during a tense meeting. I caught it, named it, then did a tiny Pattern Interrupt, two slow breaths and a quick stance reset. The outcome changed. That is the work. Safety on the outside starts on the inside.

If I show you one skill you can use the same day, would you practice it with me on July 11th? You will leave with a simple Pattern Interrupt you can use anywhere, like a 2-minute power pose and the “name it to tame it” move that calms your system fast.

Women nationwide trust Soul Punch™ because it is trauma-informed, real-world, and taught by women for women. I am a Soul Punch™ certified trainer, and I cannot wait to pour into this room.
