“Being out on the road just for the sake of it is what it’s all about,” he says. “Anniversaries are nice, but the road is where it happens. Night after night, sweaty, a little chaotic, unpredictable. Hand to hand combat.” He winks.

Joining Ben Lee as support is Mark Crotti, a Sydney-raised singer-songwriter who travels up and down the East Coast of NSW sharing his music. While the songs remain at the heart of the set, Mark’s live performances have developed a natural sense of comedy that’s becoming an increasingly integral part of the show. “It’s always going to be about the music,” he says, “but if we can make some people laugh on the way, then I’m happy.”
