- **Event Description**: Join Yoga and Meditation instructor Kat Wilcox and musician Chris Remick for a collaborative experience, combining an opening meditation and sound journey with a joyful and energizing shared drumming practice. 

Whether you are new to drumming or are an experienced percussionist, you are welcome here to build community and express yourself through drumming. Bring your own instrument, or use one of the many available different drums that are part of our library: we have frame drums, tambourines, shakers, djembes, shamanic drums, and tongue drums available for you to experiment with. 

Chris’ background in music includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Crane, former co-leader of Long Rapids fife and drum corps from 2001-2011, and Potsdam Community Band percussionist. 

Kat obtained her RYT-200 Yoga Instruction certification at Hamsa Yoga in 2018 and has additional training in Yin Yoga. She is also a Pianist and has taken coursework in composition. 

This is a donation-based event, with suggested donation of $10-$15, or what you are able to afford. Bottled water, tea and coffee are always available at our events. Registration is requested, but not required.
