Performer Bio: 
Massachusetts based singer/songwriter, Rees Shad, has had a prolific 40+ year career with 32 releases and 17 solo albums.  He has made a name for himself as a wordsmith troubadour, crafting songs that are often both poignant and profound. He is dedicated to the creating short-story songs that cross genre lines in order to serve the spirit of each tale he weaves and deeply engage with audiences.  Shad’s latest release Porcelain Angel spent three months on the FAI Folk Chart top ten list, with the single ‘Ain’t That The Way’ sitting in the #1 spot for April and May and the title track ‘Porcelain Angel’ holding the #1 spot in June. The album ended the year #23 of the top100 Folk albums of 2025 having been lauded for its “grace and elegance” (Americana UK), “all-knowing tonality” (Americana Highways), and for “pushing the boundaries of musical storytelling” (Rogovoy Report).
