The academy will: introduce the rounds used in field archery in both the NFAA and USA Archerygo over the equipment commonly used in field archeryreview the safety rules and etiquette of field archeryreview common sight mark procedures for the round-cover shooting in terrain-help obtain sight marks for participantsshoot some field targets on a real course-provide a great lunch together The Academy will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Blackhawk Archers of La Crosse field course and clubhouse. It is scheduled to start at 10:00 AM and end before 2:00 with a lunch break around noon. After lunch time there will be time on the course to shoot some of the most challenging and beautiful courses in Wisconsin. Lunch cost will be included in the entry. The address for Blackhawk Archers of La Crosse is N5120 Moos Road, West Salem, WI 54669. This academy is open to anyone interested in learning to shoot field archery. Youth are encouraged to attend, but adults are also encouraged to attend. We will accommodate attendees as our enrollment numbers dictate.
