CERT Team members continue to receive free emergency response training and have the opportunity to assist first responders in the event of an emergency.Once you sign up for a ticket to the academy, complete an application to retain your spot. Seats are limited, so don't delay! We do practice some of our new skills, so you may wish to wear comfortable clothing.Can I take the academy without joining the CERT Team?Absolutely, we want everyone to be able to take care of themselves and their families should a large-scale disaster occur in West Sacramento. This academy will provide you with the tools and knowledge to help you survive!Can anyone join the CERT Team?Anyone who has completed the academy and is over 18 can join (those 16+ can join with a parent/guardian)! There are many ways to support our first responders, so we take all levels and physical capabilities.What kind of a commitment do I have to make to be part of West Sacramento CERT?There are no required time or participation minimums for our CERT team members.
