The resulting sound and success (built on the distinctivevocals, wailing guitar and song writing style of John Fogerty) became known asswamp rock, and CCR was the pioneer of the genre.Bad Moon Rising will take you from the band’s headlining of the1969 Woodstock Festival to their acrimonious disbandment in 1972 and beyond. Let’s travel with the band up around the bend and run through the jungle into the bayou and home to Green River where we can look out the backdoor, down on the corner and see the rain.
