We'll be meeting at Grassy Waters Preserve in West Palm Beach at the Apoxee trail head to hike sections of the Apoxee trail and Owahee trail. This is expected to be a dry walk. We will be monitoring trail conditions prior to the event, but at this time the trail is dry and should be an easy walk. Plan for an 80-90 minute drive if you are coming from Miami. Instructions for what to wear, what to bring, and a waiver will be emailed to registered participants closer to the event.We will be hiking 4 miles, which should take about 2-3 hours. Please arrive by 9:45am so we can get started on time. Plan to wear comfortable walking shoes and clothes for hot weather. We recommend bringing 1.5-2.5 liters of water, and extra water in the car for when you get back.
