- **Event Description**: We will be creating Pantry Boxes for Meals on Wheels Rockland. These boxes ensure that Meals on Wheels homebound recipients have a sufficient supply of non-perishable food items in case of emergency.

Volunteers should bring with them any of the following: any canned vegetable (low sodium only), any canned fruit (packed in its own juice or water), raisins or other dried fruit, low sodium chunky or vegetable soups, pasta, oatmeal packets, individual macaroni and cheese, individual rice packets, individual sized shelf stable boxes of milk or milk alternatives, preferably 8 oz., canned chicken, canned tuna or salmon, no sugar added peanut butter. Please also bring a shoebox for packing.
