The event will include a ribbon cutting for the brand-new kayak launch at Cheniere Lake Area 3, made possible through the efforts of the Ouachita Parish Police Jury (OPPJ). Guests can also enjoy a demo day with Ouachita Paddle & Provisions, where attendees can check out and try different kayaks and paddling equipment.

Following the press event and demos, paddlers are invited to hit the water for a short guided paddle from the new launch.
