As a breast cancer survivor diagnosed in 2021, I can personally attest to the resilience, strength, and hope that define this journey. I volunteer with survivingbreastcancer.org, an incredible organization that offers a sanctuary of strength, compassion, and empowerment. Living in rural West Virginia, I know how challenging it can be to find local support, which makes this community especially dear to me.

Last year, my friends and I participated in the "Take a Hike” event at Watters Smith Memorial State Park — and this year, we're excited to do it again! We’d love for you to join us on the trail at Watters Smith. Every step we take together supports those impacted by breast cancer from diagnosis onward.
