- **Event Description**: Emma & Alec invite you to a heart-opening cacao & rose ceremony on Sunday 30th August, 10:30am–2pm at Linlithgow Guide Hall.

Late Summer corresponds to the Earth element - representing abundance, stability, comfort, care and deep nourishment. After the outward energy of summer, this is a time to return to centre, replenish, and create space for what truly supports you.

Through a grounding Forrest (Hatha) Yoga practice for all levels, nourishing ceremonial cacao, medicine songs, sitar and live sound healing, we’ll create space to move, breathe, soften, and reconnect with the wisdom within.

There is nothing to achieve, just space to be held in community, to breathe, sing, move, and nourish yourself.

Leave feeling grounded, connected, and supported for the season ahead. ?


What to bring:

• Yoga mat
• Blanket
• Cushion for sitting and lying down
• Water
• Warm layered clothing (including socks and jumper)
• A cup for cacao

Optional: nutritious snacks to share, and a drum or rattle if you have one.

10:30am arrival – 2pm

? Supporting the Apurinã People Through Handmade Jewelry

A small collection of handmade necklaces by the Apurinã people of the Amazon will also be available. Each piece carries generations of traditional knowledge and connection to the rainforest. Purchases provide fair income directly to the artisans, supporting their families, communities and cultural traditions.

Please bring cash if you feel called to take a piece home and connect with the story behind it.

? Live Sitar Music with Alec

Alec will be offering live sitar music during the ceremony. He is a sitar player, teacher, composer and researcher originally from Argentina, now living in Edinburgh.

He has studied Indian sitar and Dhrupad singing with gurus Debashish Sanyal and Ashish Jaiswal from Varanasi since 2012. Alec performs across Northern UK and co-directs ‘theSitarProject’, a community group promoting Indian music in Scotland.
