Dr. Helga Winold (a retired professor from Indiana University) is a distinguished cello pedagogue and performer. Featuring Dr. Winold, Kristen Yeon-Ji Yun, and her students, this concert will showcase a rich and diverse selection of cello ensemble repertoire, spanning from classical masterworks to vibrant tango pieces. Kristen Yeon-Ji Yun had studied with Dr. Winold while pursuing her Performer Diploma at IU. This special concert brings together three generations of the cello tradition. We warmly invite you to join us in celebrating this three-generation cello school, where tradition and artistry come together through shared musical expression. This concert is supported by the CLA Create Grant.
