Book Talk: Innovating for Tomorrow

West Lafayette Public Library is partnering with the President's Office of Special Projects for a new series - In Print at the Library.
Hear from local researchers about their recently published work in an informal, curiosity-driven setting with other learners.

February's featured author is Anne Lucietto, Associate Professor of Engineering Technology at Purdue Polytechnic Institute. She'll be discussing her new book Innovating for Tomorrow: Engineering Technology Stories from Faculty, Students, and Industry Professionals. Dr. Lucietto is also the co-author of the exciting paper "Traditionally Feminine Hobbies and Engineering Aptitutudes."

This book is for anyone interested in the evolving landscape of engineering technology, particularly as it highlights the invaluable contributions of women in this field. By offering a unique perspective on a group of faculty, current and past students, the book not only inspires students to explore diverse career paths but also serves as a vital resource for mentors navigating the complexities of guiding young minds during pivotal moments in their education.
