If you haven't heard, we will be hosting 3 Utah local tournaments, the winner of each tournament wins a Custom Deluxe Copy that features the logo of the store you won it at inserted into the slime cubes!

8-16 players per location, at time of posting we have remaining slots at all 3 locations

Entry Fee:
$10 to be paid at time of entry, per player, per tournament
Your $10 will be FULLY REFUNDED as credits toward your Kickstarter pledge for the game (minimum pledge tier of standard edition required for credits to be provided). If you back the game after the tournament, you truly have nothing to lose!
This fee is waved for players who have already completed the previous offer of leaving a rating of the game

(Optional) Reserve your spot:
If you want to reserve your spot for one (or more tournaments) contact us over Facebook Messenger. Message us which tournament location/s you want to participate in. You must arrive 5 minutes prior to tournament start time to not risk losing your spot.

Expectation:
Players must have a basic understanding of the rules prior to the tournament. We will have a brief rules refresher and Q&A prior to the start of the tournament (as needed) and at least 1 judge to answer questions during the games. Judge(s) are expected to clarify rules and interactions rather than teach the game.
If you want to learn to play prior to the tournament we will be @ Hearthside Games all day on 3/7. If you are unable to participate then, use the "Message Now" button to contact us about setting up a different play time, we are happy to teach given availability!
Tournaments should last no more than 3 hours and are expected to be closer to 2-2.5 hours.

Priority:
Entry priority will be given to players who have contacted us prior to the start date of each tournament (on a first contact/first serve basis) to communicate their intent to participate. If all spots have been reserved prior to contacting us, you will be added to a wait list to fill open spots at the time of the tournament or cancellations from other players. You must arrive 5 minutes prior to the tournament start, or your spot may be forfeit. Open spots will be filled by first the waiting list, then by walk-in players.

Structure:
Tournament will be 2 rounds, single elimination. The first round will consist of all players being even distributed (as much as possible) among up to 4 games, being played simultaneously. The winner of each game will compete in a second round. The winner of the second round will be the winner of that location's tournament. Each round is expected to last up to an hour and will be ended due to time after an hour and a half once each player has had equal number of turns with the highest score winning at that point.

Prizing:
The winner of each location's tournament wins a Deluxe Copy of the game, featuring that store's logo. Each player will be limited to winning 1 copy of the game throughout the tournaments. If a player would win more than one copy, they decide which copy to keep and the remaining copy/ies will be given to the runner up at those locations.
Prizes will be provided at/after the conclusion of all 3 tournaments, to allow for prize selection to occur if a player wins more than 1 tournament. The prize copies of the game will be used in the tournaments.
