A veteran screen actor, Nelson has amassed over 100 screen credits, including O Brother, Where Art Thou?, The Thin Red Line, Minority Report, The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, Lincoln, Nightmare Alley, Old Henry, Fantastic Four, Holes, The Incredible Hulk, HBO's Watchmen and countless others. As a filmmaker, he has written and directed five features, with a sixth, The Life and Deaths of Wilson Shedd starring Amanda Seyfried, forthcoming; and as a playwright, his most recent NYC productions include And Then We Were No More at La MaMa and Socrates at The Public. Onscreen, he currently co-stars in the new FX series The Lowdown and will next co-star in Searchlight's highly-anticipated The Testament of Ann Lee. He published his debut novel, City of Blows, in 2023 and his second novel, Superhero, will be released on December 2, 2025.This is a ticketed book signing only and will take place at Book Soup.Your ticket includes a copy of Superhero to be handed out at Check-In and signed at the program.You will need to line up outside of the store. Please dress comfortably and according to weather conditions.The author will not sign memorabilia.
