the olllam is a genre-blending collective that fuses Irish traditional music with Detroit's psychedelic post-rock energy. Featuring John McSherry (uilleann pipes), Michael Shimmin (drums), Vulfpeck
legend Joe Dart (bass), Ross Ainslie (pipes, whistles), Seán O'Meara (guitar), and Joe Hettinga (keys), the group has earned critical acclaim and sold-out venues across Ireland and the UK. Their 2022 album elllegy was named RTÉ Radio 1's Best Group. In 2024, they co-wrote Sona with GRAMMY-nominated producer Zedd for his album Telos, later performing the track live at Coachella. the olllam are redefining what Celtic music can be.
