In honor of the day, join us for a litter cleanup along the lakeshore and possible maple sap collection dependent on the weather. This program is designed for ages 12 and up. Please dress accordingly for the weather. Bring a jacket, closed toe hiking shoes, and a water bottle. Litter picking materials (pick sticks, gloves, trash bags, etc.) will be provided.We will meet at the Environmental Education and Resiliency Center in Field 1 of Hempstead Lake State Park.No admission fees for this program. Each person in your party needs a ticket.Reservations are required for all programs. Space is limited. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend.
