This course will build upon the student’s knowledge of CAMIO and CMMs and highlight the capabilities and benefits of using a laser scanner to inspect features and collect point cloud data. The laser scanning settings and parameters will be covered to ensure the user knows how to scan different types of materials along with different colors and finishes. Throughout the class, the students will gain confidence in the programming of the CMM utilizing laser scanners and will leave with the knowledge to be able to tackle a basic programming/inspection task with confidence. Some labs and/or exercises will be completed offline using the CAMIO software, while others will be performed on the CMM.TARGET AUDIENCEPW Inspectors, PW CMM Programmers, Quality engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Supplier Quality Engineers/Representatives.
