Per this language, dimensions are selected to suit function and mating relationship of a part and are subject to a unique interpretation. The course focuses on the fundamental understanding of the 14 tolerances and their inspection techniques, concepts of datums, features, feature modifiers, datum modifiers, datum boundaries, and design of functional gauging.
