During this ritual, a tree or bush is decorated with colourful ribbons, each representing a personal aspiration, wish, or something you are grateful for.We will gather in circle, choose from provided coloured ribbons and markers and write your wishes.Ribbon Color Meanings:White - peace, harmony, protectionBlack - safety, dispelling negative energyBrown - to bless home/house or petsBlue - healing, wisdom, forgivenessGreen - good fortune, prosperity, fertilityYellow - happiness, intelligence, creativityOrange - ambition, courage, vitalityRed - love, strength, careerPink - friendship, beauty, compassionPurple - divination, foresight, spiritualityYour wishes can be personal or for someone else. After writing on your ribbons we will tie them loosely to a May Tree at the studio and have some ribbons to take home too. Once all the ribbons are on the tree, we will come together, each place a hand on your tree and say "We thank you for all that you have given and that which you have yet to give. We dedicate this May tree with perfect love and perfect trust. As the wheel continues to turn. May all be blessed.We will dance a simple easy to follow ribbon dance, ending with a Yoga cool down, guided Mediation & Oracle card pull.Tracy Sadler Machalek is a movement healing artist, using tools of yoga, dance & art to share the joy of creative expression. She has a B.F.A. in Dance from the University of Texas at Austin and has been performing and teaching dance for over 30 years.
