What: 1st Annual Montana Winter Hammock Hang
When: 20 - 23 February 2026
Where: Glacier Wilderness Resort (GWR) West Glacier, Montana.
Why: Experience the beauty of Northwest Montana and Glacier National Park while enjoying the hammock life.
There are limited places to hang a hammock, but YOBOgear will be onsite and have stands available to rent for $50. A link to their web page will be in the comments. However rental will be handled through event registration.
Hammock expert Barry Garibaldi will be on-site, hopefully with demo gear. Either way, no one knows more about hammock set ups.
Ill have gear my personal gear from Superior Gear and Walhalla hammocks and outdoors for folks to check out.
With any luck Teton Hammock Company can attend. They know a lot about cold weather hammocking.
Ill make Gumbo or possibly a Crawfish boil on Saturday.
Two Hot Tubs and an indoor heated pool will be available for registered guests.
Cabins will be available to rent directly from Tammi Reichel and myself.
