Rather than being a type of performance, Kirtan is a journey of self discovery. This ancient yogic practice was traditionally accompanied with Indian instruments. In the hands and voices of contemporary practitioners, Kirtan has been transported beautifully to all cultural and musical styles without losing its genuine spiritual authenticity.Weaving together melody, music and mantra with people responding to the words of the singer, clapping, swaying and sometimes dancing, Kirtan is simultaneously a meditative, exhilarating and fun activity. We have resident kirtan band, the Harinama Brothers - Jayadharma, Nityananda, Isvara & Garuda getting together with some mellow & spirited kirtan melodies to melt away all the worries and take you on an uplifting spiritual journey.Be a part of an immersive and interactive mantra meditation experience and join many other like minded people that come to Brisbane’s home of KirtanThe Mantra Room!Everyone is welcome, whether you regularly engage in meditation or never before we encourage you to come along for a special night of chanting.Free Chai & Refreshments - Donations welcome.Namaste! The Mantra Room Volunteers ♥ - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/west-end/uplifting-kirtan-journey/100001998935185951 - **Event Categories**: bhajan-jamming, music, health-wellness, meditation, live-music, entertainment, nonprofit, spiritual - **Slot details of has slots**: - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 - **Event Highlights**: - Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes - Location: The Mantra Room West End - Languages: English ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 0, max: 0, currency: AUD ## Event venue details - **city**: West End - **state**: QL - **country**: Australia - **location**: The Mantra Room West End - **lat**: -27.4817824 - **long**: 153.0047715 - **full address**: The Mantra Room West End, 320 Montague Road, West End, Australia ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Uplifting Kirtan Journey - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events9/banners/925e298101b177a9ea73220647302847d1c577645f4d7e83eb6f958f076a5bc7-rimg-w1200-h600-dc382828-gmir.jpg?v=1789245200 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Uplifting Kirtan Journey being held? - **A:** Uplifting Kirtan Journey takes place on Fri, 28 Aug, 2026 at 06:30 pm to Fri, 22 Dec, 2028 at 08:00 pm at The Mantra Room West End, 320 Montague Road, West End, Australia. - **Q**: Who is organizing Uplifting Kirtan Journey? - **A:** Uplifting Kirtan Journey is organized by The Mantra Room West End. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
