Scroll down for the full event details...About this Event✍️ Join us in Sante's stunning function room for a fun creative writing class in the October half term.💡 This class is designed to help keep students creative talents fresh over the holidays and give them space to use their imaginations freely.✨ We'll be exploring everything from characterisation to world building in stories. Spelling and grammar won't be a focus of this workshop - it's much more about creativity and free flow writing.📒 A notebook, stationary and everything that's needed for the class will be provided. However, if your child would like to bring anything along then they're very welcome to.🤓 This class is primarily for students in Key Stage 2 (age 7 -11) but may suitable for children just outside of that bracket.👉 If you would like your child to attend but aren't sure if it's right for them them, please get in touch at burton.road.network@gmail.com👩‍🏫 The class teacher is Jo - an experienced Literacy Specialist who has worked at local schools (including Didsbury High) and as a private tutor. You can find more details about her experience and qualifications HERE.🤗 Due to Jo's background, she will use dyslexia friendly strategies as this makes the class more inclusive for everyone - but please do get in touch if you have any concerns or questions.🏷️ She is, of course, DBS checked and you are also welcome to stay for the class if you would like to.🥐 The class will be held in the upstairs function room and, if you'd like to stay, you're welcome to grab a coffee or some food at Sante downstairs.🚃 As you may know, parking in Didsbury can be a challenge so we'd encourage walking or using public transport where possible.👏 It's kinder on the planet and frees up space for those with no option but to drive.🚌 There is a bus stop just outside the venue and Burton Road tram stop is just a 5 / 10 minute walk away.🤔 If you have any questions before joining then please do get in touch at burton.road.network@gmail.com - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/west-didsbury/october-half-term-creative-writing-workshop-for-children/100001997444962653 - **Event Categories**: workshops, half-term, contests, holiday - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 - **Event Highlights**: - Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes - Location: SANTÉ Didsbury - Languages: English ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 21.84, max: 21.84, currency: GBP ## Event venue details - **city**: West Didsbury - **state**: EN - **country**: United Kingdom - **location**: SANTÉ Didsbury - **lat**: 53.42642590000001 - **long**: -2.2431515 - **full address**: SANTÉ Didsbury, 222 Burton Road, West Didsbury, United Kingdom ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: October Half Term - Creative Writing Workshop (for children!) - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events1/banners/e841e57fd7af3ebf3bd9654a8629233c915b6455876fc77fc3e884c34f504bdf-rimg-w1200-h800-dc080808-gmir.jpg?v=1787073500 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is October Half Term - Creative Writing Workshop (for children!) being held? - **A:** October Half Term - Creative Writing Workshop (for children!) takes place on Sun, 25 Oct, 2026 at 11:30 am to Sun, 25 Oct, 2026 at 01:00 pm at SANTE Didsbury, 222 Burton Road, West Didsbury, United Kingdom. - **Q**: Who is organizing October Half Term - Creative Writing Workshop (for children!)? - **A:** October Half Term - Creative Writing Workshop (for children!) is organized by Burton Road. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
