Summer Sundays are back for their fourth season! Join us every Sunday evening this summer at the Jamie Hurd Amphitheater as it comes alive with free live music from talented local artists. From 6 to 8 pm, a different band will take the stage each week to get your toes tapping and your hands clapping.
Each concert also features a rotating lineup of food trucks offering delicious meals and treats to complement the music and make your evening even more enjoyable. Food trucks will begin serving at 5 pm, so come early, grab dinner, and settle in for a great night of entertainment.
Taking the stage this week is The Punching Pandas, a high-energy six-piece band featuring a vibrant brass section. They perform a wide range of genres, take audience requests, and create an interactive experience by inviting guests on stage to play along, sometimes with instruments they’ve invented themselves. More than just a band, they deliver an unforgettable show that gets everyone involved and entertained.
Dinner this week is served by Best Spudz, a local favorite serving up the best loaded baked potatoes in central Iowa. Their lineup features a variety of loaded potatoes and other tater treats, all made from scratch using fresh ingredients with no canned cheese sauce. They also offer gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options to satisfy every appetite. For dessert, Whip Delight brings a taste of Hawaii with their signature DOLE SOFT SERVE®, served from a charming vintage camper, offering a tropical frozen treat that adds a sweet, nostalgic finish to your evening.
