Iowa Files; The Monuments Men & the Saving of Culture

Ruth Ehler recounts the role her grandfather, Ralph Hammett, had during WWII as one of the Monument Men. The Monument Men was a small corps of mostly middle-aged men and a few women who interrupted their careers to recover countless artworks stolen by the Nazis.
