# Event Details

- **Event Name**: CBC Des Moines: Topgolf Des Moines
- **Event Start and End Date**: Thu, 13 Nov, 2025 at 06:30 pm – Thu, 13 Nov, 2025 at 10:00 pm
- **Event Description**: We will be tee-ing off November's CBC at Top Golf! We'll be meeting in the bar of the clubhouse. You are welcome to reserve a bay for golfing. Looking fore-ward to seeing everyone for food, fellowship, and as always - beer!

All are welcome (Catholics and non-Catholics), so invite any friends. No agendas. Just community and relationship. God takes care of the rest.
- Anyone is welcome!
- Bring nothing. Except your smile (and wallet if you want to purchase a drink).
- If you don’t know anyone, shoot me (James Sevenich) a message and we would love to get you connected

So, for all of you new to this, here's the deal with CBC:
Like many great ideas, Catholic Beer Club was discovered by accident. A couple friends decided to get a beer.. After discussing life and the beauty of relationships, they decided to spread the word among young adults in order to build a faith-based community. The engagement of the participants, the absence of an agenda, and the union of Catholic communities has established beautiful relationships. Many successful events have followed in cities across the country. CBC members continue engaging the culture as they bring together the young adult Catholic community in the public sphere, calling on young adults to reach outside of themselves, and creating an open atmosphere for the discussion of everything from beer to God.

Although Jesus Christ was an extraordinary man, his gospel has been taken up by ordinary men. We are these ordinary people, and in this case we must be ordinary to proclaim his extraordinary gospel message. In the end, CBC is a gathering of young people who love Catholicism, beer, and good conversation - all in moderation.
