Join us for a fun and rewarding morning in the Jordan House Gardens as we plant hundreds of colorful annuals, refresh garden beds, and prepare the gardens to welcome visitors from across Central Iowa.

Whether you're a seasoned gardener or have never planted a flower in your life, we'd love to have you join us. No experience is necessary—we'll provide guidance, plants, and plenty of opportunities to get your hands dirty.

What We'll Be Doing
? Planting annuals
? Weeding and deadheading
? Touching up mulch
? Adding color and finishing touches throughout the gardens

What to Bring
✔️ Gardening gloves
✔️ Trowel (if you have one)
✔️ Water bottle
✔️ A friend (or two!)

This is a great opportunity to learn more about the Jordan House Gardens, meet fellow volunteers, and spend a beautiful Saturday morning outdoors. Families, students, and first-time volunteers are welcome!

Many hands make light work—and together we'll help the gardens burst with color just in time for the Garden Tour.
