TURNED LIDDED BOX CLASS

Join David Fellows for a deep dive into precision turning with this class on creating a lidded box. This project focuses on fitting parts with intention — from hollowing the interior cleanly to achieving that satisfying “pop” fit on the lid. You'll explore grain orientation, tool control, and design elements that elevate a simple container into a keepsake-worthy piece. Ideal for turners looking to sharpen their fine-detail skills, this class is both challenging and rewarding. Everyone leaves with a completed lidded box and the techniques to push their turning further. All materials and tools provided.

Know Before You Go
Wear closed-toe, comfortable shoes.
Long hair needs to be tied back.
Don’t wear anything too flowy like sleeves or hems that could get caught in the machine.

Cancellation Policy
Due to the underlying expenses and prep time involved with our classes, Mann Tool does not provide refunds or exchanges for cancellations that occur within 10 days of the scheduled event. Participants who give more than 10 days’ notice will receive a full refund.

Each class has a minimum number of participants required for the class to be held. Mann Tool reserves the right to cancel a class up to 48 hours prior to its scheduled time if the minimum enrollment has not been met. In this case, the participants have the choice of a full refund or a credit towards the enrollment costs for a future class.
