This year, OutFest is being reimagined as an interactive and reflective experience rooted in the meaning of National Coming Out Day. We’re creating something more personal—something grounded in the stories, voices, and experiences that make our community what it is.

Our theme, “Your Story Creates Our Story,” invites participants to explore where we’ve been, reflect on their own journey, and take part in shaping what comes next. The event will be organized into five zones that guide attendees through LGBTQIA+ history, personal storytelling, affirming expression, community resources, and collective action.

From writing letters to your younger self, to exploring banned LGBTQIA+ books, to recording messages of encouragement for others—OutFest 2025 is designed to be hands-on, meaningful, and inclusive. LGBTQIA+ community members, students, families, and allies are all invited to participate and co-create this space.

Whether you're out, questioning, or simply showing up in support—your presence matters.

Because every story adds to the strength of our community. And this one isn’t complete without yours.
