Join Amy & Judd Dillon again this year for our 5th Annual Handmade Holiday Open House! This is an opportunity to support local makers and small businesses as you shop for meaningful holiday gifts. We strive to make this a pleasant experience with a festive atmosphere. Enjoy complimentary refreshments as you browse and chat with the makers, warm up by the fire outside, and don't forget to take a selfie with "Santa!" This is an INDOOR event!
This curated holiday happening features local makers and is hosted by Preble Clayworks & Apiary. We offer unique, handmade ceramic wares by Amy Dillon including porcelain jewelry & accessories along with pots for home decor and everyday use. In addition, we offer raw honey from the bee yard where we have been raising bees for 14 years. Beeswax candles will also be available.
We are thrilled to introduce you to two new makers this year! We welcome Ryan Taylor and her woodcraft business, Taylor Made Crafts. Ryan has been operating from the Eaton area for 6 years. From her woodshop, she creates handmade items for home decor and holiday cheer. Her handcrafted signs will delight and inspire. Additionally, she offers tea towels adorned with cheerful and humorous text & imagery that will make perfect gifts.
This year we also feature ceramic artist Lynn Riewerts Carine. Lynn has been making pottery from her home studio in Medway for 15 years. You may have met her in the past at Potterypalooza or Cornell Studio. We are excited to welcome her to our event! Lynn will be offering combinations of her wheel-thrown and hand-built pottery. Her pots are highly functional for everyday use and you are sure to find pleasure in her products.
We know you will find meaningful gift options for everyone on your list. Plus, you will feel good about supporting local creators and small business. :)
We have a circle driveway with lots of space to pull off to the sides into the yard.
***Please do not block the entrance/exit of the driveway.*** Additional parking is behind the shop.
Cash is king! Please note - not all makers may accept credit cards; cash is always preferred (to avoid fees associated with credit cards and other electronic transactions).
Stay tuned for more details! Check the “discussion” button for photos of our products and introductions to this year's makers. More photos will be added leading up to the event.
We can't wait to see you and celebrate again this year! It's our 5th year and it seems to get better each time!
***Online scammers will try to pose as a host and tell people there are vending spots available. There are no spots available! Communication should only be to me (Preble Clayworks or Amy Dillon).***
