How can we bring objects, places and abstract ideas to life on the page? By giving them human attributes and emotions. In this workshop, attendees will read a diverse selection of poems in which personification is used and write one of their own using that element of poetry.

This workshop is part of the “Black Art Matters” programming series, organized in partnership with Murphy Writing Center of Stockton University.

Cole Eubanks of Mays Landing NJ is retired as an educator from the Philadelphia (PA) and Atlantic City (NJ) School Districts. He is Pushcart nominated and a 7x winner of Nick Virgilio’s Haiku in Action Gallery.
