About the event(Black Art Matters) Personification and Beyond: Poetry for Teens and Adults
How can we bring objects, places and abstract ideas to life on the page? By giving them human attributes and emotions. In this workshop, attendees will read a diverse selection of poems in which personification is used and write one of their own using that element of poetry.
This workshop is part of the “Black Art Matters” programming series, organized in partnership with Murphy Writing Center of Stockton University.
Subsidized event parking can be purchased for $4 cash in the Noyes gift shop.
