Featured readers include the inaugural Weslaco Poet Laureate Rosalva Ruiz, Tiffany Lozano, Donna Poet Laureate Julieta Corpus, Ramiro Rodriguez, and Daniel García Ordaz (a.k.a. The Poet Mariachi) with music by Fish Out of Water.

Featured writers will have 10--12 minutes to perform. An open-mic session will follow, as time permits--with 5 minutes per open-mic performer.

This is a free event brought to you by the Seven To Eight Poetry Project.
