Time to shake our sacred booties!

Come and dance with me in Sacred Space.

Connect with yourself and your community on the dance floor!

General flow of the morning: find your place in the space, silently set an intention for the dance, stretch and connect with your body, and then allow the music to move you. The music will set up the rhythm of the dance: more flowy in the beginning, growing to more up-beat tracks and slowly coming down into stillness. We will dance for 60-75 min and will end the gathering with a beautiful sound healing.

Upon booking, you will receive an e-mail with all the details you need to prepare for the event (where to park, what to bring, etc.). Please check your junk/spam mail folder if you don't see it in your inbox.

If you pay on the day, please make sure you park in school premises (down the driveway).

Through dance we can express everything, we can open to whatever it is that needs our attention, we can move and release all that is being held and hidden in remote corners of our bodies. We can allow all emotions, anxieties, fears, all our edges as well as our passion, love and joy to move and express themselves. Allowing, opening, connecting. It’s easier when dancing. It’s all easier when dancing. This moving meditation allows us to be here with whatever arises, there is nothing to do, nothing to change, nothing to fix, we just follow the music and let the dance take care of it all. By honouring the body’s intelligence and paying attention to what it has to show us, we release old patterns and habits, we let go of old layers no longer needed, we can put it all down through the dance, we shift and change until we are reborn as our unique free fabulous selves.

About Vicky Barcelona

I am a mother, a daughter, a sister, a tribe member, a friend, a mentor, a lover of life and an elder in training.

I work as a psychotherapist and facilitator. My deepest passions in life are community, dance, women’s circles, rites of passage, celebrating life’s important transitions, honouring ceremonies, bringing ritual back into our lives and supporting people to open to every aspect of their humanness.

I am absolutely committed to creating and holding Sacred Space for groups and individuals. Supporting people to remember their true nature; to connect with their deepest longing; to clear anything that is apparently in the way of living fulfilled lives; and to inhabit their bodies so fully that they can return to a state of intimate relationship and connection with all that is.

Dance is my medicine and it has played a very important role in my journey.

It has allowed me to open in ways that didn’t feel possible in any other way. I have been dancing all my life. I dance at least a little bit every day. And some days I dance for hours. Dance transforms me, connects me to my own inner power, makes me feel alive, expanded, present, joyful, in love.

I want to share this with others. I want to provide a safe and present space for people to move, release, open and connect, following their own inner intelligence.
