IMPORTANT DATES
Auditions: September 16, 6-9 pm at the Numerica PAC (enter through the stage door)
Call-backs: September 17, 6-8 pm at the Numerica PAC
Cast announcement: September 25
Rehearsals: 6:30-9 pm, Monday - Thursday beginning January 11, 2027
Performances: March 12, 13, 18, 19, and 20 at 7 pm and March 14 at 1 pm (with a possible additional matinee on March 20 at 1 pm).

AUDITION INFORMATION
Auditions will be gender-blind and occur in 10 minutes time slots that you can sign up for at the end of this audition form. Actors will be notified for a call-back by email after auditions have concluded.

Note: The actor cast as Laertes will also play the Player King.  Please be sure to look at both sides.

You will be asked to read the side(s) associated with the character(s) you are interested in being considered for.  We're looking for control and use of the language - clear, strong choices.  Preparation is highly encouraged.

Perfection.  Memorization.  Accents.

WHAT TO EXPECT
This production of HAMLET is designed to provide the best possible representation of the play for all audiences.  It has been adapted from all three original sources of the text to appeal to both newcomers and those very familiar with Shakespeare.  The performance will maintain a brisk pace and will likely run for under three hours.

REHEARSALS
We will be diving deep into the text before getting on our feet, so please bring a curious, enthusiastic attitude toward the language.  Actors cast as Hamlet and Laertes will have extra rehearsals built into the schedule for choreography.
