Cyanotypes use the intricate shapes of seaweed and a little bit of chemistry to make beautiful pieces of artwork that you can take home with you. We'll also be learning about the different types of seaweed you can find washed up on the strandline, as well as the history of cyanotypes.AccessibilityThe cyanotype making session will take place inside Wembury Marine Centre, which is wheelchair accessible. However, the practical session will take place on the beach, approx. 75m from the Centre (down a stepped-slope) which is not wheelchair accessible, but with prior notice, we can make reasonable adjustments.ParkingWembury Beach car park is owned by the National Trust and parking costs £3/2 hours or £6/day for non-members.
